3D Artist | zero3 Amman, Jordan

We are creating one of the region’s first “next gen” AAA game, to be released on the PC platform with worldwide standards.

This is a great opportunity for a proficient artist to undertake a rewarding role in the company leading the gaming industry in Jordan.

GENERAL
• The applicant should be capable of creating 3D assets, detailed textures and simple animations at a quality level suitable for the worldwide market.
• You will be given briefs regarding different sections of the game, and you will need to recreate them with an extreme level of detail. These briefs might include images, video or other reference materials.
• Team play and coordination is crucial, as several artists will be working together on a large scale project.
• Being a gamer is a big plus.

CREATIVE
• Creating world-class highpoly assets for use in project’s marketing and advertising material. (print, online, video)
• Creating lowpoly versions to be used in the final product (game) with all accompanying textures.
• Where required, offer concept art reference materials.
• Creating 3D assets that meet the required art/technical standards set by the team
• Basic understanding of the game engine’s shader technology, texture resolutions requirements, polycounts, and 3D software integration workflows.
• Assets will include a wide variety of objects from characters, buildings, vehicles, furniture, etc…

Skills
• At least 1 year experience in 3D modeling/texturing
• Familiarity with technical concepts of real time rendering (preferable)

Modelling / Texturing
• A keen eye for lighting, shading, colour, detail and form
• Proven modelling skills
• Proven texturing skills (through original art and photo reference)
• Excellent in 3D Studio Max, mudbox and Photoshop

Animation
• Character and object rigging
• Lip-synching and facial animation experience
• Animation skills (2 legged characters)
