As of April 2010, number of facebook users in Saudi Arabia exceeded the 2 million users, which makes the kingdom the second largest Arab population on the largest social networking hub.

More than half of facebook users in Saudi Arabia are between 19 – 29 years old, while 25% are between 30 – 45 years old. Males dominate facebook in the kingdom with more than 66%, while English language has surpassed the Arabic in a country where users are widely known to prefer using Arabic when it comes to internet, this could be due to 2 reasons; expats, and the fact that English has been there before Arabic and so users got used to over time.
