Khaleej Times is currently looking to hire a dynamic and professional individual for the role of Account Group Manager for Dubai office. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in advertising sales management background to propel their career into the fast lane by taking up this challenging position.
Revenue Generation: Responsible for the assigned advertising targets for publications. Work towards increasing the revenue over and above assigned targets and ensure achievement of revenue targets. Whist main focus shall be on periodicals revenues, special emphasis should be given towards generating revenues of the other categories.
Client Relationship Management / Business Development: Develop and maintain good relationships with both existing and new clients with a goal to increase advertising revenue for the paper which may include negotiating rates, monthly, quarterly and/or yearly contracts, offer incentives, media bouquet of packages, etc. Generate good will in the market by being a brand ambassador for KT and its products. Maintain good PR with all major advertisers / ad agencies in the market and provide resolve to their complaints etc. Special project as assigned by LINE.
– Bachelors Degree / Masters in Marketing is preferred
5 plus years of overall experience in marketing and sales management with 3 plus years spend in the region in broadsheet / media marketing in managerial roles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and persuasive skills are required at this level along with team management and leadership skills to be able to lead sales team towards achievement of revenue target. Marketing degree is a plus / Broadsheet and Magazines experience is required. Holding a valid UAE driving license.
