Account Manager | GE Infrastructure, Oil & Gas Doha

Responsibilities
* Monitor market conditions for changes and new developments and forecast opportunities for Qatar & Pakistan.
* Plan and organize to target key customers to increase sales and develop new accounts to support MEA’s ambitious goals of growth in the region.
* Adhere to core values and ethics in doing business for the good of GE Vetcogray and ensure that all personnel and agents understand our Compliance Program, rules, regulations and procedures in conducting business.
* Make direct sales calls, call on customers to discuss product requirements and technical modifications, plan and deliver customer presentations, respond to customers’ inquiries and resolve their problems, keep customers informed of changes affecting delivery, quality, modifications, etc.
* Look for opportunities within Qatar & Pakistan to grow new business opportunities and maximize existing opportunities such as aftermarket.
* Review & negotiate terms and conditions with customers to ensure that the interests of GE Vetco Gray are protected at all times. Work with the customer on minimizing exposure of any sort whether it be Legal or Commercial.
* Work with the customer ahead of time to ensure that the tender specifications are close to the GE Vetco Gray standard and that any deviations are noted ahead of time.
* Work closely with the ITO & OTR personnel for support and assistance as well as ensuring that customers’ requirements and all pertinent information are clean and clear to assist the respective department in the planning and preparing of quotes and orders.
* Train and develop Qatari Nationals and Third Country Nationals for career planning to ensure they progress into roles of responsibility in a career within Vetco.
* Use IT tools to facilitate reports and planning, e.g. ETOMS, SORTS, EIRR.

Qualifications
* Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Min 10 years of customer facing experience in the Oil & Gas business
* Good knowledge of oilfield equipment including Well heads, Surface & Subsea, Flow Control equipment
* Solid understanding of the O&G Market and its players
* Fluent spoken English
* Excellent negotiation skills and knowledge of related legal and financial implications (Terms & Conditions, contractual/risk analysis)
* The candidate will be expected to closely work together with the Regional Manager, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and Finance team
