Our client, a global FMCG multinational, currently seeks a Research executive to join their expanding regional team.
Based in Dubai, reporting to the Head of Research for the Middle East, Africa and India, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of qualitative and quantitative research projects. You will assist in the design, implementation and analysis market, adult smoker and brand research studies, and provide active support in the dissemination of strategic market, brand and adult smoker knowledge to enable the development of business strategies and plans contributing to the growth of the business. You will be responsible for the management of budgets, and work closely to track budget allocation for all research projects. You will need to work internally with all regional managers to understand their information needs, and design ad-hoc research work to assist them. At the same time you will also work closely with a specific research agency to brief them on your continuous research needs, as well as specific retail audit data requirements.
As the ideal candidate, you must an Arabic speaker, who is degree educated with both qualitative and quantitative experience from either a research agency or ideally a client side research background. You will have between 2-3 years research experience and looking to build your career in a client side research role. Those based in the GCC can apply as applications from outside of the UAE are welcome. You will have a strong achievement orientation, and will be passionate about market research and have an ability to multitask with a number of simultaneous projects, to deliver great quality in time and within budget. You will have strong leadership skills and will be able to apply these when briefing and managing research agencies. Those currently working in a research agency will be considered, but client side FMCG research candidates are preferred.
