1. Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager and working in close partnership with the E-commerce and Creative teams, the Marketing Manager will develop strategies for and manage the execution of online and offline marketing activities to support overall customer acquisition, conversion, and retention objectives.
2. Principal Accountabilities / Key Result Areas
• Strategy:
o Able to understand consumer behavior and to create appropriate strategies for each target.
o Understanding of online communication, market trends, deep understanding of Internet environment.
o Deep understanding of brand Management – able to articulate and implement a brand strategy and to create a valuable brand experience.
o To understand and develop the strategy from research to execution
• Implementation
o Organizational responsibilities:
? Keeping within the monthly budget and getting the different operations implemented (e.g. Newsletters, online campaigns, radio, events…) by organizing the tasks with the different suppliers (freelancers, printers, event companies, media…) and internally with the relevant people in charge (Marketplace manager, Sales manager, Design manager…)
? Monitoring that the implementation is done on time and on budget
? Observing the results of the campaigns everyday and adjusting the strategy when required
o Creative skills:
? In charge of proposing creative ideas for campaigns and to find new attractive angles to present promotions and services
? Able to use online including social media and offline communication in new ways to make innovative campaigns
? Able to brief and give feedbacks to designers and copywriters to obtain the best creative result.
• Research
Capable of handling desk research as well as quantitative and qualitative research.
