Our client, a Dubai-based standalone refinery, are urgently seeking a Area Sales Manager for their office based in their Dubai office.Your main responsibilities will includeShould have hands on experience working in a tradingmanufacturing company dealing with industrial companies for selling raw materialsingredients (any food commodityfood ingredients)Should know the concept of industrial sales and their quality requirementsUnderstanding in logistics i.e., how a commodity is shipped (break bulk and containers) to another destination – knowledge of INCOTERMSBasic understanding of documentation – Bills of ladings, other required certificates, shipment supervision issuesUnderstanding of payment structure – CAD, LC etc (basic knowledge)Basic understanding on the insurance matter

Skills
The ideal candidate should be degree level educated with 7-10 years of experience in working in an industrial company preferably dealing with raw materialsingredients purchase (any food commodityfood ingredients). You will be proficient with MS Offices skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook. Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic language skills are also essential. Fluency in the communication of French and German would be an added advantage. You should have the ability to work independently in a pressured environment and work overtime if required.
