Asian part of the International Jury - ‘Red Apple’

Moscow International Advertising and Marketing Festival - Red Apple

The representatives from leading advertising agencies of Europe and Asia entered the International Jury of MIAF. The President of the Jury – Kevin Brady, Group Creative Director DROGA5 (USA).

The International Jury will choose winners in all categories. So the Organizing Committee tried to include in this jury specialists from different areas – interactive, media, design, craft. The geography is very interesting and variety: Asia, Europe and CIS.

Asia will be presented by Tim Cheng, Executive Creative Director of Tribal DDB Beijing (China) andTrongTantivejakul, Chief Creative Officer of Y&R Bangkok (Thailand). The representative in South Korea recommends inviting in jury Hyun Jong Lee, Chief Creative Officer of HS Ad.

For the past 16 years Tim has been an award winning art director and creative director at digital agencies around Europe and Australia. A native of Hong Kong, in 2009 Tim returned to his home city to assume the role of Executive Creative Director at Tribal DDB Hong Kong, responsible for clients including McDonalds, Philips, Intel, and Financial Times.

In two and a half years, Tim has helped to transform Tribal DDB into the most respected and awarded creative digital agency in Hong Kong. He has now extended his focus to Greater China, and is leading the Tribal DDB Beijing creative team.

Tim has received numerous prestigious awards and accolades including from Spikes, AdFest, Webby, D&AD and Cannes over the years. He is also an active participant in award shows, recently involved with judging Spikes, AdFest, IAB, as well as speaking at local and international creative conferences.

Currently Tim leads Tribal DDB’s Creative Council for APAC, and is also a member of DDB Group’s Executive Creative Council.
Tim brings with him an international perspective of creative strategy, and a proven record of successful online communication with an emphasis on innovative integrated campaigns.

Tim is active player in tennis in free time.

TrongTantivejakul, Chief Creative Officer, Y&R Bangkok
Inspired by a revolution in Thai advertising in the 1980s, Tantivejakul studied advertising at Bangkok University. He cut his teeth as a copywriter at McCann-Erickson in the USA, and later returned to Thailand to work at Leo Burnett and Y&R. With over twenty years experience, Tantivejakul has received a stash of awards at AdFest, D&AD, the Clios, Communication Arts, One Show and Cannes Lions.

Trong is father of two children and player in tennis in free time.

Hyun Jong Lee, Chief Creative Officer, HS Ad
Hyun Jong Lee has begun his career worked in LGAd as a copywriter. His talent helped him to become a Creative Director. In 2005 he started work with Welcom as a Vice President, than will be WiseBell (ECD President) and now he is a CCO of HSAd. Hyun Jong Lee was a part of jury on Asia Pacific Advertising Festival (AD FEST) and Pusan international advertise Festival (AD Star). His clients are LG, Baskin Robbins and Olympus. He has won multiple awards, including Korea Advertising Awards, New York Festival, ADFEST, etc.
