The Role

  • Assist with planning and executing the annual marketing plan
  • Coordinate with all involved parties to execute and implement the Marketing Plans.
  • Provide key liaison with advertising agencies,
  • Identify, screen and appoint suppliers / service providers as needed.
  • Interact with various in-house departments (Finance, HR, IT, Operations)
  • Maintain and update the marketing/PR manual and press kits.
  • Keep up-to-date on all development and existing projects.
  • Organize and collate all research reports & conduct competitive analysis reports
  • Prepare and execute all required paper back-up for approvals, accounting, correspondence, supplier databases, and general record keeping.
  • Assist with the development advertising material & conduct marketing visits.
  • Support & Co-ordinate the overall company’s marketing objectives both externally and internally to execute and implement the Marketing Plans.
  • Ensure that all printed promotional material is distributed effectively throughout the premises to include posters and leaflets as per directions of marketing managers.
  • The contact point coordinator of Majid Al Futtaim Leisure & Entertainment Operations & Marketing and the Call Centre
  • Government relations: Securing approvals for upcoming promotions
  • Create, adapt & resize specific artworks for various departments (Marketing, Sales, HR)
  • Assisting and checking translation for all Marketing material & press releases from English to Arabic and seek final approval from Marketing & Sales Director.
  • Prepare and execute all requires paper back-up for approvals, accounting, correspondence, supplier database, and general record keeping
  • Collects and analyses competitor information in order to facilitate marketing strategies.
  • Oversee Magic Planet web site and other social media tools and ensure that weekly/daily content is in line with social plans
  • Maintain liaison with external and internal suppliers, assisting in commissioning and delivery of marketing material

Develop the International Standard Marketing technical materials including:

  • Brochure
  • Multi-Media Presentations
  • Printed Materials eg., Fact Sheets1


  • Has 2-3 years’ with FMCG , retail background or agency background, holding a bachelor or MBA degree from a reputable university with the following areas of strength:
  • Worked and initiated research exercise
  • Experienced with managing agencies
  • Excellent brief (creative, media…etc.) writing skills
  • Good knowledge of branding practices and guidelines
  • Can read and understand P&L
  • Comfortable with running pricing and revenue analysis (strong with numbers)
  • Strong team player
  • Fluency in numbers and MS Office
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Understand what it takes to make a brand popular and visible
  • Knows how to win at PR front?
  • Dynamic , energetic and creative
  • Can work independently as well as in a team and work well under pressure
