Skills
The perfect candidate would be hardworking, highly organised, bright, confident, proactive, presentable and committed to a career in corporate and financial communications. The candidate would have good people skills and be a strong team player.

Although previous agency experience is not required for this position, the perfect candidate would have an understanding of public relations and an interest in finance, business and the media. High quality spoken and written Arabic and English is essential as is competence in Microsoft Office, in particular Word and PowerPoint.

Key Roles
• Generation of high quality client account ‘essentials’ including press releases and media fact sheets
• Give informed advice to clients and articulate that advice in written form
• Translation of English to Arabic and Arabic to English efficiently and fluently
• Distribution of press releases and follow-up with the media
• Preparation and organisation of client events including drafting materials and managing timetables and media programmes
• Research for client work and new business pitches (including Reuters, Bloomberg, Factiva and internet search engines), monitor and distribute sector news
• Establish a good network of media contacts and share any insights with colleagues
• Think creatively about ways to raise the profile of clients
• Effective and proactive coordination of client teams working with support staff
