BPG Kuwait celebrates a decade of success in 2010

BPG Kuwait (Bates PanGulf Kuwait), celebrated its 10th year of success in Kuwait’s marketing communications market.

BPG Kuwait hosted its 10th anniversary ceremony yesterday, at the Executive floor of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of guests of honor Ayman Alshaya, Chief Executive Officer, Alshaya Trading Company. BPG Kuwait also welcomed CEOs from its current client portfolio, industry leaders, business partners and top media representatives to mark this memorable day.

The anniversary celebration featured a keynote by John O’Keeffe, Worldwide Creative Director, WPP, who was invited to give his insights on the advertising industry’s growth over the last decade and sketch future developments in this rapidly changing sector. Reputed for raising creative standards at WPP, O’Keeffe presented a global showcase of exceptional creative campaigns, while incorporating a selection of BPG Kuwait’s best creative work. He highlighted the importance of constant growth and long-term partnerships between clients and their agency as the base for truly successful marketing campaigns. O’Keeffe stated that nowadays, agencies are expected to deliver more than just artwork – they also have to be adept at integrating every aspect of marketing to provide a comprehensive solution.

Avi Bhojani, Group CEO, who opened BPG’s office in Kuwait in 1999 said: “Our Kuwait operations have matured with the development of the Kuwait marketing communications market. Clients want best-in-class solutions to their business problems and we have structured ourselves to build significant competitive advantages for our clients through innovative and integrated marketing solutions”.

Commenting on the 10 successful years of BPG Kuwait, Fiona Quinn, COO/Executive Vice President, BPG Kuwait said:

“While it is terrific to complete 10 years, we cannot rest on our laurels. We have to constantly keep raising the bar in everything we do. Our focus on medium and discipline agnostic solutions is a big differentiator for us in the marketplace and we will keep strengthening it in the months and years to come”

To mark their first decade of accomplishment, BPG’s team got together to enjoy two days of celebration. Among the special guests were Mr. Andrew Scott, WPP Director of Corporate Development and Board member of BPG Group and Mr. Christopher Hoare, CEO team HSBC, Chairman of JWT Europe and Board member of BPG Group.

The two day event culminated with a gala lunch to thank clients, business partners and employees for their continued contributions and support for BPG Group.
