The Role
Our client is a local distributor of sports, leisure and lifestyle brands and services. Growing rapidly within the GCC region and they are looking to recruit a dynamic, energetic and passionate Brand Manager.
A hands on, proactive individual with a minimum of five (5) years experience within a similar environment will be required to:
• Travel to certain destinations on a regular/seasonal basis.
• Work closely with their International office to maintain a high level of product knowledge, understanding of the brand strategy and to collect all applicable information so that you can pass it onto the sales team.
• Conduct ongoing training sessions with Key Accounts and Sales Team members (when appropriate).
• Continuously liaising with the Warehouse Manager so as to help the development on speedy deliveries/service to their customers.
• Support the CEO, when he/she is traveling, with reports and any other aspects that may be required.
The preferred candidate will need to be dedicated, committed and driven in order to achieve results. A detailed work experience and proven track record in brand management / brand building in both the retail and distribution industries are the minimum requirements for this application. Leadership skills and team management is a must as well as the ability to work in a fast paced, high pressured environment. Experience in stock management/forecasting, planning and reporting is essential.

Requirements
