The Role
Brand Manager – salary up to 15,000 QAR
Our client is a major global player in the world of beauty and dermo products with a well established brand presence in the region. They have headquarters in the UAE and are currently looking to expand their operations specifically in the Qatar market.
You will be expected to draw upon your local market knowledge of the Qatar pharmacy and specialist dermo retail channels and use this to successfully open new business as well as build business through existing channels. This role will combine a range of key skills, brand visibility and merchandising, excellent negotiation skills with clients to secure prime facing locations and higher sales. It is imperative that you have a strong relationship with the local distributor and ensure that stock levels are monitored and annual purchase forecasts are in line with market demand and communicated to the head office. You will be responsible for a team of Beauty Advisors in terms of their sales targets, sales performance and provide all of their training. In addition you will plan and execute PR and sales promotions activities to increase sales.
Requirements
Our client needs someone who has excellent communications skills, a confident sales technique and a good head for numbers. You will have a minimum of five years experience in a similar role within the GCC. Ideally you will have experience in the skin care industry and have a medical background. All candidates should be university educated. You will be expected to visit the market on a daily basis and travel sometimes for regional training. The working week runs from Saturday to half day Thursday with flexible working hours to enable you to maximize your contact time with the client.
