• To initiate, develop and manage key brand strategies to maximize long-term brand equity/health and profit contribution for the brands
• To manage and direct the brands inclusive of all strategy and brand management decisions including new product developments, research programs, brand support and creative/media strategy
• To implement the Marketing activities of allocated brand(s) as outlined in the agreed annual Sales and Marketing Plan to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability objectives
• Developing brand’s annual marketing plan including development of volume & profit objectives & strategies. Cross-functional team management is a key component of this effort.
• Work with the Media Agency to develop annual objectives, strategies, and programs.
• Development and communication of brand essence, brand positioning, brand character, and brand objectives
• Effectively implement, monitor, and control plans against agreed budget parameters and key brand metrics (brand awareness measures)
• Achievement of individual product volume, net sales and profitability in addition to market share targets specified in the Marketing plan.
• Ongoing market analysis that measures performance and identifies new marketing opportunities that support the objectives of the annual plan with the aim of delivering improved volume, profit, and share performance.
• Development and implementation of product promotional activities, including detailed strategy, budgets, and efficiency measures
• Development of portfolio product pricing in line with company objectives
• Management of appropriate external agencies in the development of marketing programs that meet the requirements of the annual plans.
• Assist Marketing Manager in leading & executing the brand’s annual innovation program including identifying innovation opportunities (via understanding consumer need/gaps, R&D capabilities etc.), development of concepts, analysis of market research findings (both primary and secondary).
