Our client, a global top 10 FMCG multinational company is currently a brand manager to join their expanding regional team. This is a phenomenal opportunity to join the market leader in the food and beverages in the biggest market in the Middle East.

Based in Riyadh, reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will work to set and deliver the brand strategy and plans on some of the largest household brands in the Middle East. On a strategic level you will play a critical role in identifying the brand’s Prime Prospects, target market sizes, innovation pipeline and expansion plans to set the three year brand strategy. On a day to day basis you will monitor the brand’s performance through retail audit analysis and sales fundamentals data where you will need to understand the drivers and drainers of the business and make recommendations to fix or move forward. You will work with advertising agencies to select whom to work with and then write advertising briefs on the communication plan and work with them to schedule the most effect media plan. You will work with the sales teams to plan the promotional calendar for the year ensuring that there is a holistic equity programme in place both in terms of media and within key accounts, ensuring that your brands have more than their fair share of display, share of shelf and promotional activity. You will need to work closely with your trade marketing colleagues to understand what innovations will be needed in the future to win market share, and you will need to write proposals and recommendations to deliver this as part of the brand strategy.

As the ideal candidate, there are a few must haves. You must be degree educated with at least 4-6 years of FMCG marketing experience in a top 20 Blue Chip FMCG organisation. You will be a young and dynamic individual who is passionate about marketing and able to handle multiple priorities to make things happen. You will be hard working and ambitious and have creative flair and passion. You won’t be afraid to make recommendations or decisions and will be able to communicate with respect and authority to all levels of the organisation. International applications are welcome. Arabic speakers are preferred, but not a must.
