Yahoo! is in search of Branded Content Producer to join the Editorial team.

Yahoo! strives to create authentic content.

It’s a brave new media world and brands continue to need solutions for reaching consumers and help bring the brand to life across the MENA region

Key Responsibilities

– Key contact and coordinator between sales and content/Editorial team of ongoing updates and improvement to digital content

– Manage internal and client stakeholders

– Work with strategic, creative and technical teams to proactively develop new ideas and implement solutions

– Clearly translate client requirements in written, internal briefs

– Ensure all members of the Editorial team understand the brief

– Provide direction and advice on strategy and solution where appropriate

– Proactively communicating internally and externally through regular meetings, contact reports and status updates

– Consistently ensuring the highest quality service delivery and content execution

– Proactively initiating new business ideas that will benefit business

– Planning and delivery of digital image, video and text based content in line with key editorial, marketing and sales strategy

– Works close with Content Development Manager to execute all content initiatives from campaigns, web series, featurettes, movies, articles, images etc.

– Key role in the production and management of content across a number of digital assets in web, mobile and social media

– Working with third party suppliers for the provision of content

– Supporting social media needs with content as required

– Supporting campaign needs with content as required

Your Credentials:

– You have experience in content management for online community

– You are a mid-range producer with a solid 3-5 years of proven experience in an agency and production environment ready to take on a more senior role

– At least 3-5 years experience in a creative environment

– You have experience and knowledge of web content and strategy, design and technology

– Strong project management skills and experience

– You have a desire to keep up with new developments in the digital space

– Knowledge and understanding of the media environment in the Middle East

– Great communication and influence skills, as a point of contact for key roles in the Editorial team

– Experience in developing content as a customer engagement strategy

– A great portfolio of forward thinking, conceptual work in design, video editing as well as sound production skills as a strong plus

– An understanding of traditional, digital and emerging media and communication techniques


– Must be fluent and have excellent written and communication skills in both English and Arabic

– Strong analytical and planning skills

– Excellent management and coordination ability

– Exceptional communication and presentation skills

– Ability to work autonomously and in a group

– Background in marketing, art/creative, design, online digital media

– Have the ability to quickly grasp business issues and work well under deadlines

– Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships within a diverse client base

– Strong analytical and creative thinking

– Have a sense of ownership and responsibility for deliverables

– Highly organized with great attention to detail
