Communication Director | Business Enhancers Dubai

A government owned entity is looking out for Communication Director.

The position occupies a highly visible leadership role within the institution and the community, and works collaboratively with senior executives, administrators and board members.

· Manages all corporate communications including Media Relations, Crisis Communications and Executive Communications.

· Responsible for creating a robust, well integrated internal communications program.

· Leads identification and management of external PR agencies, setting and monitoring progress toward established goals.

· Plans and implements an aggressive news media relations program of national impact, including: initiation of media contacts to promote institutional events, achievements and programs; prompt and accurate responses to media inquiries; assistance to media after usual working hours and on weekends; and creation of media relations materials, policies and procedures. More specifically:

­ Cultivates strong, positive relationships with key media to facilitate coverage of the institution.

Responds promptly and accurately to appropriate media requests for comment, quotes, background data, etc.

Monitors and reports on media interests, coverage and issues.

· Works with, executives, managers and board members. Acts as an advisor and consultant to senior management on communications issues

· Collaborates with Brand and Service line Marketing leadership as well as Human Resources leadership to create well integrated programs and a strong sense of partnership

· Provides direction and strong management for the Communications Office, including the recruitment, direction and evaluation of the staff, development of strategic plans and stewardship of financial resources.

IT is very stable position and involves managing teams as well as providing leadership to communications for internal and external stake holders

Skills
The person has to have at least fifteen years of experience

HE should be Arab and have worked in similar position either as Communications Head or PR head

He has to have either one of the qualifications
Degree in Journalism
Degree in mass communications
And preference is for Male candidates only.
