Our client, a high profile government sector is seeking to recruit Communication Director . You will be responsible for strategic planning and implementation of all communications activities of the Department. This includes developing relations with the public, media and stakeholders, setting press releases and media coverage, conferences, forums, and promoting the Department's image locally and internationally. You will be directly reporting to the General ManagerKey Roles and Responsibilities Establishing and founding an institutional communication division within the department and define it’s basic functionality and major roles. Select, supervise and evaluate performance of communication and media relations staff. Setadjust staff priorities. Review monthly staff reports. Produce written monthly reports of team activitiesresults to Director General. Track progress toward Department's strategic goals Overseeing the development and delivery of proper training and development programs to build qualified communication middle managers and professionals. Prepare and manage financial budget and resources allocated for communication activities. Strategic communication planning Leading the effort to set a long term communication strategy helps in forming and shaping brighten image for the Department Developing department’s crisis – management communication plan. Formulating and writing policiesproceduremanual protocols that govern communication activities domestically and globally.Plan and implement internal and external communication plans to support departments initiatives, projects and programsMedia relations Developing, maintaining and enhancing strong connections with local and international media outlets, this including but not limited to (News agencies, news papers, TV channels and online and Internet media gates). Communicating promptly and effectively to requests for response, research, public reports, quotes, photos, interviews and information from media contacts. Planning and organizing press conferences and television interviews.Acting as a point of contact for all media to secure proper, friendly

Qualifications and Experience-Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Economical and Financial Studies or related major with a sound knowledge of international Finance, political, business and economic affairs.-10 years minimum experience as a journalist andor Communications Director specially in financial companies or financial journalsmagazines (at least 2 years in a managerial position).Key Competencies and Skills-Ability to lead, manage and direct professional teams.-Ability to set plans, strategic objectives and measurement framework.-Professional financial analysis skills.-Exemplary editing and writing skills.-Public speaking skills, Quick thinking and ability to speak without notes in an impromptu and spontaneous fashion.-Extroverted and willing to construct wide professional networks.-Branding and public opinion leading skills.-Influential communication skills.-Assertive and results driven.-Team player with strong analytical and project management skills-Organized, detail oriented and flexible individual who works well with deadlines.-Fluent in English, Arabic and other languages are advantage.-Knowledge of the most recent web technologies and Internet tools.-Knowledge of international Financial, political, business and economic affairs.
