If you want tens of thousands of followers on twitter, you either have to be famous or get followed by a celebrity, Conan O’Brien for example, and what if you were his only followee? That will make you the star!
After the cancellation of his Tonight Show, O’Brien was banned from appearing on TV for couple of months as part of his exit deal with NBC, so apparently he has some free time to spare for twitter, so he decided to follow one person a time to change the life of that person.
Conan currently has more than 655,000 followers, so when he follows you, and you only, those followers will probably follow you, according to the Associated Press, after he followed Sarah Killen, her twitter handler started to attract 150 followers a minute! Now she has more than 27,000 followers, that’s pretty amazing!
