This is an amazing opportunity for an exceptional Middleweight Copywriter to be an integral part of a creative team within an expanding, international Marketing and Advertising Agency.
Reporting to the Art Director, you will work within a fast paced buzzing team of creatives providing a broad range of clients with innovative first class campaigns. You will be responsible for providing adverts, mailing sales aids etc. for leading brands within the GCC. The company itself prides itself on its reputation for creativity combined with innovation and all staff are encouraged to input into creative concepts and drive forward new business. As such you are the type of person that helps to bring pitch work together, get right under the skin of a brand and bring it to life. You are happy to write headlines or body, whatever is needed.
Requirements
Ideally you will have at least 2 years experience working as a copywriter within an Advertising Agency or in-house for a large co-operation with a strong portfolio of writing and coming up with concepts for sales and marketing copy, for on and offline campaigns, including email campaigns, banners, flyers and newsletters.
You will possess a degree in a related discipline and a good understanding of communications strategies and the current market. You will have the creative flare that a copywriter requires in order to succeed, an outgoing, upbeat personality with a strong sense of responsibility and desire to understand the nature of this commercially driven business. Versatility and the ability to juggle projects is also key to this role as no two days are likely to be the same and you could be working on a variety of projects ranging from DM advertising through to outdoor and digital initiatives.
Successful applicants will need to be brimming with ideas, have excellent conceptual skills and the ability to sculpt concise, informative commercial copy tailored to our client’s portfolio of leading brands. You will also have examples of work that you have done for blogs, social media and emails.
