Leading Financial Institution in Qatar seeks experienced Corporate Communication Manager.
The key role for this position is to lead and manage the development, planning, implementation and delivery of communications process for the Bank to raise the public and industry profile of the Bank supporting all business divisions.
The role will be responsible for all Corporate Communications activities of the Bank and will oversee the delivery of objectives by the department in line with the overall business objectives.
Requirements
1. Develop and manage the overall corporate communications programme including PR and media relations, CSR and sponsorships, crisis communications, websites and internal communications
2. Develop and manage the department budget and finance reporting
3. Lead and oversee the delivery of communication strategy for all business objectives, PR, CSR, and campaigns by in-house and 3rd party suppliers
4. Lead on the Bank’s media relations – develop and cultivate relationships with the local media to enhance profile
5. Lead and co-ordinate all communication activities and campaigns to ensure corporate and specific messages are delivered and the profile and reputation of the bank is maintained and enhanced
6. Proactively identity opportunities to reinforce Bank’s positioning and issues which need to be address and take forward through planned communications programmes
7. Lead, develop and manage a CSR and sponsorship strategy and programme
8. Develop collaborate and partnership working arrangements with the Bank’s stakeholders to enhance positioning through PR and CSR activities and events
9. Manage all aspects of media, launch and sponsorship events
10. Formalise brand communication guidelines and oversee compliance to corporate brand guidelines across all communication collaterals
11. Oversee development and production of Annual Report
12. Award and competition submissions on behalf of the bank across the business
13. Lead, develop and manage a digital strategy and programme
14. Lead, develop and manage all the banks websites as required – managing maintenance, hosting and any change development requirements
15. Lead and develop content and structure (alongside Webmaster and Operations) of Insider and Intranet as required including management of specific areas of site
16. Work alongside COO on all online banking projects as required
17. Regular formal reporting on all activities as required i.e. PR and CSR update, website reporting and tracking etc
18. Assist with all staff event activities as required
19. Production and further development of internal staff newsletter “Dardasha” and any communication needs as required
20. Review and development of new communication and e-communication technology as required.
21. Work with alternative channels to deliver a range of communication collaterals and to put in place new required templates and structure ie ATM screens, Scripts for IVR etc.
22. Review and produce new templates for all standard communications to customers across all business areas as required
23. Generate, produce and review as required new communication training material for all new products to internal staff including FAQs, brand awareness information, glossaries etc
24. Contribute to overall effectiveness of the department, open communication, proactive problem solving, offering ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member
25. Team management and staff needs including Performance reviews and assessments.
26. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Must have:
6 – 10 years work experience in communications and E-Communications in banking.
Web development and management, communication skills including editing, proofing, copy writing and communication systems.
