You will be responsible for bringing in best practice to Retail Corporate Marketing operations into the organization, devising and implementing an appropriate Marketing Strategy and guiding a team of middle level managers who will in turn be responsible for several retail brands, catalogue sales and web marketing/ E-commerce. This job demands developing & driving both existing and new retail concepts (brands) on one side, and developing & implementing a strategy for catalogue selling & E-commerce on the other. The job will cover annual sales budgeting, monitoring the sales performance and increasing market share for all the channels (Retail Stores, Catalogue Marketing and E-commerce). He/ she is expected to define brand values and ensure that they are incorporated into all the customer facing activities, ensure that each brand is differentiated from one another and is tailored to meet the customer needs and formulate the best customer service policy suitable for each brand/ concept separately. Conceiving and implementing an appropriate ATL/ BTL advertising strategy and introducing suitable Customer Loyalty Programs will be a part of this portfolio.

The candidate should preferably hold an MBA along with a strong retail background. A minimum of 12-15 years’ experience with a reputed/ organized retailer in a matured market is essential out of which 5 years should be in Retail Marketing and Brand Building activities. It is very essential that the person has a creative mind and a flair for visual presentation of merchandise & concepts. Someone who has been able to bring out a Corporate Visual Merchandising Policy that communicates the brand values will be an ideal candidate for this post. Experience in Catalogue Marketing and E-Commerce (web selling) is very much desirable. He/ she should possess excellent communication skills, man management skills and leadership qualities.
