The Role
•Communication with GIS on all new projects to ensure compliance with international guidelines.
•Provide guidance and recommendation to Affiliate and local Brand management to maximize operational results, efficiencies and productivity.
•Work with Brands in the analysis of their communication plans (both PR & marketing) to recommend and initiate campaigns that ensure key objectives are achieved
•Develop and define online direction, prepare and implement necessary guidelines and meetings with key Regional and Brand partners to ensure programs are implemented according to requirements and goals.
•Prepares and implements Affiliate strategy with key Affiliate contacts to ensure programs are implemented according to requirements of each market.
•Stays abreast of Market as well as Regional competitive activity and trends and identify needs in existing activities
•Manage and grow existing online retailer partnerships and explore new opportunities with authorized retail partners.
•Establish and maintain high level of communication and accountability with key Affiliate contacts and Region
•Monitor and analyze website activities and report feedback and optimization.
•Ensure measurement and analyze online campaign metrics and advise appropriate adjustments to ensure maximum ROI.
•Monitor and analyze competitor’s activities and communications.
•Produce monthly and quarterly KPIs for the region in terms of on-line traffic.
•Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and develop actions plans.
•Create/Optimize and implement customer-focus plans to build a strong relationship with users.
•Explore and analyze user behavior online trends on brand sites, and share industry/markets best practices.
•Develop targeted campaigns to increase conversions. Ensure measurement and report effectiveness.
•Identify opportunities to increase email opt-in list and qualified contacts.
•Suggest and implement email campaigns and strategies.
•Develop budget for the Brands’ communication and consumer strategies that include targeted and tactical online recommendations.
•Ensure online projects/communication is in alignment with approved operational plan, budget, and schedule.
•Work closely with PR, marketing, CRM and GIS to drive online media integration across traditional communication plans.
•Conceptualize and build strategies with off-line promotion/activities to drives online traffic.
•Advise the implementation and utilization of new functionality for websites, with internal requests.
•Work closely on consumer communications projects with the consumer communications lead.
•Advice the affiliate on new and innovative on-line solution for communications internally and externally.
•Demonstrate creativity and immersion in social media.
•Stays up to date with on-line activities and can educate the affiliate on these.
•Able to grow evangelism and loyalty for our products.
•Creates the on-line community strategy, owns the roadmap for the on-line platform.
•Develop, optimize existing as well as explore new partnerships and digital marketing opportunities.
•Enhance self understanding of product information, PR and Marketing calendar, and sub-categories under the Communications Dept.
Requirements
•Passionate about on-line capability
•Degree or equivalent in PR, Media or Communications – advertising/PR/On-line Marketing
•3+ years experience that includes online or digital media consultancy/project management
•Regional experience required in beauty & e-commerce
•Industry, technology and/or strategy experience
•Strong analytical and negotiation skills
•Strong leadership and communication skills
•Understanding of web technologies involved in e-commerce and online marketing
•Knowledge of search engine optimization think including basic keyword search.
•Must have experience in both consumer media relations.
•Must possess excellent computer skills
•Ideally able to write, read and speaks Arabic.
