IDC is expanding its global business in the Middle East & Africa region. We are launching a new office to be located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The positions will serve both Saudi Arabian operations as well as support the regional goals and business strategy in the Middle East and Africa region.
Join the new branch as Country Manager with overall responsibility for the Regional Support Center, and work with an international team dedicated to research, event and advisory services.
Responsibilities:
- Meet financial targets for business;
- Manage key customer relationships and actively develop new business opportunities on the Saudi Arabian market;
-Coordinate sales activities of other team members;
- Play an active role in promoting the success of the conference business;
- Act as a leader, fostering a team environment while providing a vision for the team;
- Assure on-time delivery of research and consulting projects and assignments;
- Conduct research and consulting in area of expertise;
- Actively develop new research, consulting and conference ideas;
- Manage IDC Saudi Arabia and Regional support operations, including timely delivery of financial and sales data in the required quality.
Skills
- Research management and client management skills;
- People management experience and emotional maturity;
- Familiarity with IT market developments and knowledge of the IT market in Saudi Arabia;
- Established relationships with largest IT vendors would be an advantage;
- Solid background in market research or consulting;
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken Arabic and English;
- Strong commitment and loyalty;
- Willingness to work in a growing and changing environment;
- Willingness to travel abroad.
