Country Sales Manager | Al Waseet International Kuwait

AWI is currently looking to recruit a Country Sales Manager for its operations in Kuwait.

The ideal candidate should be mature, energetic and proactive with good interpersonal and team leadership skills. The ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver under pressure, as well as communicate effectively with a variety of different nationalities are essential.

Good presentation and negotiation skills are necessary. The ability to make quick balanced decisions, and an impressive record of achieving targets are a must.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
•Leading a dynamic sales team to ensure it achieves its departmental goals and objectives
•Allocating sales targets to the different channels, products, and geographical market segments
•Organizing, coaching and supervising sales staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained to meet all sales targets, and that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards
•Developing all necessary procedures and processes to ensure that the sales force is operating efficiently and effectively
•Keeping up-to-date on developments in sales techniques and technology to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position
•Monitoring the performance of sales staff and taking remedial action when necessary to ensure that sales targets are met
•Monitoring and controlling the sales budget to ensure that all sales targets are met and that all necessary financial controls are in place to comply with company and regulatory requirement
•Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers, media agencies, etc. to ensure that the company‘s maximum sales potential is realized
•Monitoring the sales performance of competitors and gathering relevant market intelligence to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position
•Submitting needed regular sales reports to line management and Head Office Commercial Department staff

Requirements:
•University degree in Sales and Marketing or in Business Administration
•8+ years experience working in the field of Marketing and Sales Management (preferably in the Advertising/Media and/or FMCG fields)
•Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Arabic
•Good working knowledge on all essential MS applications
•Strong foundation in finance and planning budgets
