Wunderman Egypt is mainly dealing with Microsoft, one the major client of Wunderman.
Their main impact is on the Marketing Service Center of Microsoft, MSC.
As an MSC Database Strategist, you will be trained to use the statistical data models, work with the subsidiaries on their marketing campaigns and determine which model to use, run the models and work with the subs on the outcome as well as track metrics.
You will report to a MSC Marketing Manger but may take direction from Senior Executioners from time to time.
Exposure to basic BI tools and experience with business analysis/campaign optimization required.
The ability to communicate effectively in English is a requirement of this position.
Skills
- Highly quantitative background (statistics, quantitative analysis, microeconomics with demonstrated ability to effectively apply statistical techniques to improve targeting capabilities.)
- Working knowledge of SAS and/or SPSS
- Strong analytical skills with solid foundation in statistical procedures.
- Experience in one or more of the following: ANOVA, CHAID, cluster analysis, factor analysis, and/or multivariate regression analysis
- Experience with Database software a plus (Access, FoxPro, SQL Server, or Oracle)
- Solid understanding of the direct marketing principles, project process flows, and execution.
- Ability to multi-task multiple execution team deliverables and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organization skills, acute attention to detail, consistent follow through, project management, communication (oral, written and interpersonal).
- Capacity for project and directional changes and flexibility a must.
- Strong skills using campaign management marketing software (i.e. Epiphany) and PC based applications (specifically the Microsoft Office Suite) are a must.
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks.
- 4+ years experience as database marketer/data analyst or equivalent required.
- Hands on experience with Sampling and exposure to Design or Experiment.
- BS/BA preferred; MBA a plus. Degree in economics/statistics preferred.
- English language skills required
