Jack Nicholson was there, Al Pacino and Brad Pitt and Marlon Brando did too, some of the greatest names in Hollywood were there as well, watching me dining at the Holiday Inn Express, just opposite to terminal 3 of Dubai Airport.
I’m not a fancy person, but I always admire things that are practical and yet have a nice touch of luxury, this is one of the things about hotels, you can go really fancy and pay loads of money, or you can have a pleasant stay while saving some money to add to the leisure budget.
The Holiday Inn Express is a chain of hotels that gives you Holiday Inn experience for less, couple of weeks ago I stayed at their hotel at the Knowledge Village, it was a good stay specially with the existence of Vista Bar, good food, good sheesha, and most importantly, free internet!
That’s the view from my room, airports and airplanes always get me excited, get me thinking of the cool places out there that you can go to. Having this hotel right next to the airport would only offer a practical choice for business travelers, you have your meetings, have a good night sleep and then off to the airport.
The diner was a really good experience, the open buffet was really delicious, loved that lamb beryani 
and the service was as good, but the thing that I really liked about the restaurant is the Hollywood legends wall, a nice challenge to recognize everyone there!
If you are traveling to Dubai, try the Holiday Inn Express, AED300 a night including breakfast, and you get a free ride to the metro station across the street to move around in the city!
