Our client, a worldwide leading manufacturer for electronic interfaces and industrial automation technology, is currently seeking a Direct Sales Manager. Your main responsibility will be developing strategies and tactics for the direct customers in the Middle East ensuring continuous expansion within all applicable market segments.Your key accountabilities will include Liaising with the Distribution Sales Manager to harmonise sales and marketing activities for the ultimate and strategic benefits of the Company Identifying, managing and developing new channels and business opportunities in the market activities Managing, motivating and supervising the direct sales and marketing activities of the remote Area Sales Engineers in other countries or cities in the Middle East Negotiating price contracts in ensuring maximum turnover and profit margins for the Company Providing guidance and assistance to the sales team with regards to preparation of quotations and final negotiation of terms and conditions Liaising with the Sales Manager and Admin Manager in developing and implementing processes to increase the customer service level Executing corporate presentation to customers highlighting the commercial and general technical values for direct customers Coordinating the country specific andor customer specific export regulations and requirements with the commercial sale support team and the logistics manager Actively supporting the marketing activities for direct customers and coordinating the follow up process within sales and marketing team Providing monthly reports of sales and marketing activities, competition status and forecast Responsible for the Direct Sales Profit and Loss and controlling of expenses Providing an annual business plan in developing the direct sales business in the Middle East.
Skills
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline with MBA preferably. You will have at least 6 years senior sales experience of which at least 3 years experience in managing sales directly with customers and key accounts. Sales experience of electronicelectrical products within the process industry is very advantageous. You will have proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). It is essential that you possess excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written along with solid leadership and management skills. You will also have the ability to persuade people with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. If you have the above skills and experience, then this job is for you!
