We are looking for a professional PR and Marketing Director with at least 12 years experience in the industry. The client is an extremely high profile international Sporting and Events company located in Bahrain. Job responsibilities include developing the overall Business Plans for Retail sales, Corporate sales, and Marketing. The candidate would need to design leading edge products and packages and bring them into the market.Responsibilities include reviewing and refining existing marketing processes and providing input and feedback in the planning process for optimized execution of integrated marketing campaigns, leveraging various tactics including direct mail, email, online, web-casts, and events.The candidate will need to develop and plan the launch of new retail products and pricing structures.They will plan changes to layout based on sales or seasonal history, influence brand and business managers, plan and implement brand specific strategies and increase and improve sales.Duties also include overseeing all advertising and marketing campaigns, building the culture and managing processes to ensure delivery of integrated marketing campaigns.The candidate is also responsible for providing the sales teams with necessary tools, sales coaching and direction required for them to be successful on a daily basis.Experience with managing various departments is essential. The role involves serving as the lead sales person for all national and international corporate relationships.
Skills
The candidate must have a degree in Sales and Marketing. It is essential to have excellent leadership skills. 10-12 years of experience in handling commercial functions of a large organization and more than 5 years as Head of a Department. Excellent communication skills required and experience in dealing with high profile clients. Ability to manage various departments effectively and efficiency, and remain calm under pressure. Excellent networker with an outgoing and social personality who would be able to network at exclusive events.
