7 March 2012 – The last of the shortlists for Dubai Lynx have today been announced. The Integrated Jury, made up of seven members from other juries, has viewed 54 entries from the Integrated category, arriving at a shortlist of ten.
Yesterday saw the final day of the Festival and a fantastic line-up of seminars and workshops. Gastón Bigio, Ted Royer and Jacki Kelley all took to the stage to give their President’s Address, while further seminars included Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, The Sweet Shop, Aegis and Microsoft. Meanwhile workshops were given by Patrick Collister, Publisher of Directory and Emmanuel Legros, Sales Director EMEA AT Gemalto. Yesterday’s events culminated in the Dubai Creative Club Party at Mahiki, offering delegates another chance to network and socialise with fellow industry peers.
Ongoing throughout the Festival, 14 teams have been battling it out in the Young Lynx Integrated Competition. Competitors have today presented their campaigns to a dedicated jury who have deliberated and decided on the worthy winners. The winning Gold team will be announced at tonight’s Awards Ceremony.
Tonight’s Awards will not only see the winners revealed and celebrated to a crowd of over 1,500 guests, but the Advertiser of the Year, P&G, and the Dubai Lynx Advertising Person 2012, Raja Trad, CEO of Leo Burnett Group MENA and member of the Leo Burnett Worldwide Global Leadership Council, will also be honoured in front of a crowd of over 1,500 guests. Further announcements will include the Network of the Year, Agency of the Year, Media Agency of the Year and the new Lynx Palm Award.
