Principal Accountabilities / Key Result Areas:
· Identify opportunities to optimize web sales conversion through product merchandising, promotions, and site functionality enhancements.
· Manage e-mail communications programs for newsletters and promotional messaging to various audiences.
· Provide recommendations to improve higher natural search listings, as well as ensure proper search engine optimization (SEO) guidelines are met.
· Test, optimize, and manage online advertising, pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, and affiliate programs.
· Track and manage reporting for all web marketing activities.
· Regularly review and evaluate competitors’ web marketing.
· Maintain knowledge of current web merchandising, SEO, PPC, and e-mail best practices to continually optimize these programs.
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
Experience:
· Web marketing/SEO/PPC experience.
Core Competencies:
· Strong knowledge of current SEO and on-page optimization techniques and trends.
· Experience developing and managing PPC campaigns, affiliate programs, and e-mail campaigns.
· Ability to track and report Internet marketing ROI and other key performance indicators.
· Familiarity with WebTrends an asset.
· Solid interpersonal and communications skills, as well as a collaborative approach.
· Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
· Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Programming and web design knowledge a plus but not a requirement.
· Arabic knowledge required.
