Marketing management position with responsibility for leading a team to create and deliver successful marketing plans for a designated product portfolio. Achieve specific revenue, profitability and market share objectives. Reporting to Associate Vice President (AVP) Marketing and Vice President (VP) Higher & Professional Education, Middle East & Africa region.
Key Objectives
•Create and implement marketing plans and campaign schedules to meet Higher Education sales, profitability and market share objectives.
•Development of team to optimize market, customer knowledge and analysis, encouraging a high level of understanding and ownership of the factors that drive demand, revenue and market share. Ensure strong knowledge of the competitive environment.
•Ensure marketing team produces (or contributes to, as appropriate) on time and to agreed specification comprehensive and effective direct marketing pieces (direct mail or email) for use in all territories and channels as required.
Key Responsibilities
•Management of marketing team towards all stated objectives

•Management and allocation of marketing budgets
•Creation and implementation of marketing plans
•Effective direct marketing of all products within portfolio, working with AVP.
•Submit monthly report for Marketing
•Recruitment for team with AVP, VP
•Regular communication with sales management, sales team and editorial staff
•Work closely with UK inventory team
•Working very closely with UK Marketing team
•Lead marketing contribution at sales meetings working closely with UK Marketing and AVP marketing.
•Attendance and contribution to acquisitions meetings.

•Successful track record of achievement in marketing or sales management
•Able to demonstrate consistent success in the areas of team leadership, recruitment, assessment and performance management.
•Comprehensive IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
•Strong copywriting, numeracy, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
•Minimum of four years marketing experience required.
•2 years of management experience is required
