1)Business Management
Act as overall coordinator and first line advisor to the Country Managing Director on all finance-related matters and have responsibilities for corporate legal affairs
Play a key role in the management team and has responsibility for the country’s forecast
Contribute to the annual budget process, co-coordinating the input from respective business partners, providing them with information and interpretation of past financial performance and highlighting areas for improvement/ development
Ensure compliance with Nielsen policies and procedures. Maintain local P&P in line with Global and Regional P&P, co-ordinate implementation of new P&P and ensure communication of existing P&P to new hires
Provide actionable financial information and insight, advice and support to own business partners on operating their client revenues/ cost structures to achieve business targets
Contribute to the development and maintenance of appropriate business performance indicators
Contribute to establishing, maintaining and evolving processes fit for purpose in relation to monitoring business performance and ensuring consistency/ accuracy of information
Work proactively and within project teams to contribute ideas, recommendations and solutions for current and potential business issues
2) People Management
Provide management leadership which positively impacts team, organization and results: staff optimization, hiring, training, coaching process
Develop self and own team members and provide coaching to others to ensure they achieve results using appropriate processes, systems and tools
3) Financial & Accounting Management
Responsible for providing overall direction for the accounting, tax insurance, budget, credit and treasury functions
Responsible for the preparation and issue of the annual balance sheet
Direct the preparation of results for monthly and yearly financial Statements
Prepare forecasts, quarterly reviews and other analyses as appropriate for relevant business partners
Produce special insightful analyses on specific areas of business performance as required
Skills
University degree in Finance / Accounting (MBA desirable)
4 to 7 years accounting / finance working experience in multinational companies’ environments
CPA / ACA / ACCA
Audit firm experience
