About the Job
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join our Toys R Us team based in Dubai, UAE.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate preparation of Management Reports (the Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements of the business unit each month and cash forecast) and any other reports required by the group, to track performance against budget / forecast.
You will carry out timely insight into operational performance review with business functions through operational reports and dashboard as well as ensure timely advice on variances, trends and corrective action to be taken. You will prepare and manage budget, forecast and long term plan along with business presentations to retail senior management team.
You will provide commercial support to the management team in the areas of cost management, pricing, inventory management and feasibility studies for new stores. You will also recruit, motivate and develop staff to enable the Finance function to meet business needs.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, it is essential you have ACCA / CIMA / CPA / CA or equivalent qualification.You will have 7 – 10 years of Management Accounting and Financial planning experience in a large organisation.
You will possess good analytical and financial modelling skills and be KPI driven and customer focused. You will have excellent communication skills and ability to work to deadlines. You will have to possess cultural awareness and sensitivity and have an attitude of continuous improvement. You will be honest, responsible and a team player.
