Godudu, the world’s first social network that speaks your language, officially launched its Arabic platform at an exciting and high-tech event held at the Marina Garden of Burj Al Arab.
The event took place in the presence of H.E. Rustan Nurgaliyevich Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, H.E. Rizvan Kurbanov First Vice-Premier of Dagestan, top VIPs from Dagestan including international, regional and local high level guests, top media leaders and social media connoisseurs.
Freshly crowned winner of the “Best New Product or Service of the Year – Media and Entertainment” and “Best Software Programming/Design of the Year” on October 11, at the 2011 International Business Awards held under the patronage of Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade at the Emirates Palace, and honoree in the “Most Innovative Company of the Year in the Middle East and Africa” and “Company of the Year – Media”; Godudu has already more than 1.2 million registered users with around 20,000 daily new registrations and is celebrating in English, Russian and as of today in Arabic.

The launch event kicked off with a live presentation of the world’s most advanced multilingual social network that enables people from different backgrounds and cultures to communicate in their language, using its unique system of interface recognition that translates from one language to another.
The presentation showcased Godudu’s many features highlighting its usability and multitude of fun applications such as its chatting feature with simultaneous translation, the user friendly photo uploader and the new type of profile with extended functionality.
Godudu is committed to respect the laws and culture of the Middle East as well as globally, and it offers improved privacy settings that are user friendly and can be easily customized to the users’ preferences.
Currently three language-enabled, Godudu plans on launching other languages soon such as: Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Mandarin, and Italian among many others. In this context, Godudu signed a partnership agreement with the Çukurova Group – Turkey – during the event, a major Group consisting of 150 companies and corporations in Turkey and worldwide, owner of 10 TV channels and 8 of the largest cellular operators in Turkey.
