Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer and Assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer.
Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
Creates a rough layouts within Allied Publishers concept.
Use specialized computer software to create layouts and graphics.
Be part of a creative team of copywriters, photographers, printers working to tight deadlines.
Select the size and arrangement of the different elements of Allied Publishers Magazine pages.
In printing and publishing the Graphic Designer may also assist the printers by selecting the type of paper and ink for publication.
Skills
Personal and Professional Qualifications:
-Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Design — Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
-English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
