Head of Corporate Marketing | Abu Dhabi, UAE

Our client are a company involved with infrastructure, education and construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

They require a ‘Head of Corporate Marketing’ to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure its effective implementation to achieve corporate and business objectives for the corporate brand, its business units and all its initiatives.

• Directs and supervises the development and implementation of effective communication tools in producing quality Marketing & corporate communication materials to ensure effective, consistent & accurate representation of the company and its business units.

• Establishes brand strategy and ensures that communication and brand activities are synchronized so as to be consistent with the company brand architecture and positioning.

• Manages the effectiveness of assigned staff by providing leadership, building an effective team, developing and agreeing with staff on their objectives and standards of performance, monitoring results actually achieved, counseling and guiding as necessary, determining training needs and developing cost effective training plans, carrying out performance appraisals, dealing with disciplinary issues.

• Preparation of marketing budget for the all divisions and their associated brand, Corporate brand, in line with the overall objectives & growth strategies of the organization. Authorizes expenditures and ensures tracking of project costs to control expenses.

• Negotiates contracts with specialist agencies, both locally and internationally to represent the company and its projects.

• Analyze market trends, key consumer drivers and attitudes, competitive brands & communication activity with a view to adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.

Qualification:
Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing.

Experience:
10-12 years work related experience in Marketing, out of which, 6-8 years in senior managerial position & preferably in brand management – Multinational background.
