Recognized as an innovative media and entertainment entity our client is looking for an experienced HR Director based in Abu Dhabi.
Reporting to the CEO responsibilities will include providing leadership and support to the existing HR team, you will develop and drive HR strategy in line with the organizations vision and monitor its execution to ensure efficient delivery. You must drive continuous improvement with particular focus on maximizing productivity; ensure free flow of two way communication between the business units and HR. You will propose changes needed to organizational structures using best practices and ensure UAE National Development initiatives are well communicated. Recruitment and selection processes will fall into your remit, you will monitor the talent team and ensure effective hiring processes are in place. Performance and talent management will be a key focus you will ensure all activities in the performance management process are effectively executed so that colleagues have the opportunity to participate effectively. Finally you will review the talent development programs and drive coaching, mentoring programs along with ensuring training and development opportunities are deployed at a consistently high standard.
The successful candidate will be required to be university educated with preferably a HR qualification. You must have at least 10 years’ experience in a HR generalist position along with managing a team. Key competencies will include strong influencing skills, inspirational leadership, evidence of developing and implementing HR initiatives. This is a fast paced dynamic environment that will require you to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
