The Role
1- Manage SHB marketing activity to ensure that the Bank’s products and services meet customer requirements, the SHB brand is viewed favorably and market share is increased.
2- Provide leadership to the Marketing Department (i.e.setting individual objectives, reviewing performance and providing ongoing feedback on a formal &
informal basis) so that all subordinates are aware of what they are required to achieve and how they are performing against their objectives.
3- Use market research and competitor intelligence to understand customer behavior and competitive strategies to recommend the introduction of appropriate products/services that meet customer requirements.
Requirements
1- University degree in Business Administration or Marketing
2- Post graduate management qualification (M.Sc. or MBA) preferred.
3- 8 – 10 years marketing/advertising experience, ideally gained in a banking environment.
4- Minimum 5 years marketing management experience
5- Expert knowledge of banking marketing developments globally and within the Kingdom.
6- Sound understanding of broad economic developments globally and within the Kingdom and how they relate to the Bank’s commercial strategy.
7- Expert understanding of product/service marketing philosophy and techniques.
8- Written and spoken fluency in Arabic and English languages.
9- Excellent presentation skills.
10- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
