Job Purpose:
Develops branding strategy and symbols of Bank and ensures adoption internally in Bank in all interfaces with external interfaces, and establishes, develops and maintains relationships with media, public relations and event management organizations.
Key Result Areas:
- Marketing & Public Relations Plans: Develops the Marketing & Public Relations Plans under guidance from the Department Head and articulates the objectives of Section.
- Communication Channels: Utilizes appropriate communication channels for branding, sharing information, and receiving interested entities from the donor, volunteer and participant communities.
- Media Relationships: Liaises with print, television and radio media to place advertisements / press releases to communicate the Banks brand and information messages.
- Event Management: Plans events for Bank to conduct or participate in and supervises and facilitates staff in event participation.
- Liaison with PR Firms: Works with professional PR firms to develop and articulate the branding images and symbols for Bank. Develops brand management plans and ensures adoption internally and in all interfaces of Bank with external entities.
- Budgeting: Works closely with the Investments & Projects Sections and the Marketing & Public Relations Department Head to prepare and utilize budgets for the activities of the section.
- Coordinating Work: Supervises and coordinates the work of the staff within the section with other sections in the department.
- People Management: Assumes responsibility for, and assists, subordinates in managing performance and development and ensures that the HR policies of Bank are executed effectively in the Section.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Social Work / HR
- 7 years of relevant work experience in Marketing / Public Relations
