Head of Sales & Marketing | Cairo, Egypt

We are an investment house with investments in Egypt, Eastern Europe, Western Europe and Scandinavia. Our investments in Egypt comprise of two various operations. One of them manufactures construction material at 2 different factories. We employ over 300 people in the two companies.
We are now searching for HEAD OF SALES AND MARKETING. You will report directly to the company’s CEO in Egypt with whom you will have a close working relationship. From time to time, the investment management team from London will be contacting you, ask you to make reports and/or presentations and participating in internal or external meetings.
We are looking for a highly driven well-rounded top performer who will be able to provide strong sales track record as well as sales management experience, strong team building qualities added with analytical and strategic support to the business.

Responsibilities:
• Ensuring sales development are in line or better than plan / budget
• Create a proper sales plan to ensure tripling sales volumes within 3 years
• Create a strong sales team to implement a sound strategy using demanding targets
• Create demanding yet achievable KPI’s for sales team
• Develop our corporate image in Egypt including building PR material and website.
• Execute quantitative analysis of the construction material market with appropriate conclusions.
• Create proper presentation of findings to senior management and the broader organization.
• Ensuring that our company in Egypt has an excellent market intelligence of its competitors and markets

Skills
• Graduate degree and an MBA, preferably AUC.
• Engineering background is a plus
• Distinct track record in sales and creating a market plan with sound assumptions
• Distinctive research, problem solving and analytic skills, combined with promising business judgment and ability to communicate clearly
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills and project management experience
• Fluent in Arabic and English; knowledge of additional European languages preferred
• Must be extremely well organized with attention to detail and capable of handling multiple projects and ad hoc requests for information simultaneously
• Proven history of self-direction and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong track of sales in the field of construction materials, cement is a plus.
