This is a senior role in the Communications Planning team situated within a hospital. To create, implement and oversee communications programs that effectively describe and promote the hospital and its services. Has to interpret corporate communications policy and implement this within the hospital – also ensure prompt handling of crisis communications, in cooperation with the Crisis Communications Manager. Strong leadership and time management skills are essential. Demonstrate judgment and self-sufficiency in effective problem solving while serving as the administrative and operational marketing & PR resource for the hospital.
Requirements
• Education:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in media studies, journalism or equivalent education.
• Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in Hospital Communications Management or related disciplines preferably in the gulf region.
- Communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively manage and facilitate multiple cross-functional tasks and projects.
- Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills, able to produce or edit the full range of materials required with imagination and flair
- Effective project management experience and strong time-management skills
