An experienced internal communications practitioner tasked with developing and managing the internal communications plans for the hospital in support of the corporate communications strategy. The role is wide ranging, encompassing the timely co-ordination of employee communication through a range of channels to ensure ease of access, clarity and consistency. Excellent copywriting ability with a clear understanding of internal communications principles.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Education:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in media studies, journalism or equivalent education.
• Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in internal communications or related disciplines preferably in the gulf region
- Communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively manage and facilitate multiple cross-functional tasks and projects.
- Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills, able to produce or edit the full range of materials required with imagination and flair
- Effective project management experience and strong time-management skills
- Needs to work closely with the marketing department and the crisis communications manager and the Hospital Communications Director in each hospital
- Excellent communications skills with strong attention to detail
