Jaguar MENA Launches ‘The Art of Performance’ Brand Campaign with ‘Forward Thinker’ and Social Media Figure Hamad Qalam

Dubai, 26 July, 2015: Jaguar MENA has just revealed its new MENA campaign titled 
 ‘The Art of Performance’ aiming to celebrate the brand’s expanding line-up of vehicles across the region. The new platform will challenge the conventional perceptions of innovation and performance using creative content to resonate with audiences across the region.

To mark the launch of ‘The Art of Performance’ campaign, Jaguar MENA is introducing the first film in its ‘Forward Thinkers’ series with the story of one of Kuwait’s most popular social media influencers, Hamad Qalam.

Collaborating with individuals from countries across MENA the Jaguar ‘Forward Thinkers’ film series will profile individuals recognised as progressive thinkers in their respective fields. Personifying the Jaguar brand in their daily lives, each individual strives to stay one step ahead with their energy, determination and passion.

Drawing comparisons between Hamad’s story and the Jaguar XE, his film focuses on his motivation and drive to use technology and social media to connect to wider audiences and become one of the most influential online figures in Kuwait.

Commenting on the effect social media and technology have had on the world’s connectivity, Hamad begins by saying: “The evolution of technology and its impact on our lives has a good side and a bad side. The good side I’m referring to is how it made the world smaller. We can now meet the whole world through a mobile phone screen.”

Hamad goes on to recount his interest in social media from an entertainment tool to one that would make a difference and raise awareness around key issues within his society: “When the number of my followers increased on Twitter and Instagram, I tried to use this in a positive way. I arranged a few charity campaigns in Kuwait; becoming a social media activist, delivering messages for the community or a specific humanitarian cause.”

Capturing the message behind ‘The Art of Performance’ and the ‘Forward Thinkers’ project, Hamad added: “I believe that if you have three characteristics: Innovation, promptitude and planning, then you are a Forward Thinker.”
