Event Manager | Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Main Responsibilities / duties
Responsible for planning, organizing, controlling and monitors logistical interfacing of all events
Prepare event outlines and scaled drawings of event areas and coordinating equipment distribution and event billing. The duties will include all event coordination tasks after events are booked through conclusion.
Initiate event coordination so details are secured and finalized in accordance with event planning timeline procedure;
Oversee events and functional supervision of all event related personnel while events are in progress, and Coordinate and satisfy the requirements for multiple events occurring simultaneously
Follows through during each event, assisting facility users to ensure that functions run smoothly, and checking details such as specific room set-ups, and event timelines
Research potential sponsors for events
Assist with event sponsor cultivation and relationship maintenance by writing sponsor proposals, preparing event packets and making telephone contact.
Accurately calculates events costing and prepares final budget for each event.

Qualification and Experiences
College degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field with at lease 5 years in management level.
Ability to work in a challenging environment
Ability to work long, irregular hours as dictated by schedule of events
Excellent oral & written communications skills
