Events & Sponsorship Manager | Abu Dhabi, UAE
Our client is looking to expand its marketing division and require a professional and experienced Events & Sponsorship Manager. You will be working closely with the Marketing Director and PR & Comms Manager to ensure maximum exposure for the company at any company event or sponsored event. It is crucial you understand how to calculate ROI for each event and keep a close eye on budgets.
You will be responsible for planning, organizing and controlling a range of events and sponsorship activities for the company. You will develop and drive the growth of sponsorship events.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
• To liaise with external event partners, agents and groups to ensure continuity of event organisation and planning
• To be the contact for all event sponsorship projects on behalf of the company
• Regular interaction with all internal departments particularly PR & Communications and Marketing to ensure continuity of Company’s branding and promotional campaigns throughout the events managed
• Provide Marketing Director with feasibility study for taking out sponsorship for various events, highlighting benefits to the Company
• To liaise and update the Marketing Director or other members of the management team as to progress, budgeting and RIO on events and sponsorship projects
• Work within specific budget guidelines and tightly track project expenses
Requirements
Special Skills/Attributes/Experience required for the job
• 3-5 years events experience required in a senior position
• Ability to multi-task and follow-up with an eye for detail
• Demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English – Arabic an advantage
• Numerate
Minimum Education level required:
• Educated to degree standard or equivalent
