This position will entail supporting the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Senior Marketing Laison officer for all marketing related issues concentrating mostly with the company website, and to implement the marketing Programs.
• Website development and maintenance.
• Assistance in developing and implementing the Marketing Strategies and Campaigns through the Internet. .
• Support in Marketing Programs, Advertising, PR Communication, Promotions, Brand Management.
• Dealing with Advertising brands through company website
• Preparation of launch Events for new establishments, brands.
• Working on Power Point Presentations.
• Analysis and presentation of Key findings of market Research, surreys, etc.
• Development and update of the Group Newsletter.
Skills
- Ability to design following the industry’s latest professional web design standards - focus on aesthetics as much as user-interface, information architecture, and usability.
- Ability to hand-code HTML.
- Ability to design and code with CSS, Java, Perl, ASP
- Ability to design for cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to research and develop professional quality copy or content.
- Ability to design with an understanding of the business and sense of commercial and competitive considerations.
- Ability to manage web servers
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Ability to work under pressure, allocate time efficiently, take direction, and give feedback in a constructive manner.
Other skills considered a plus:
- Proficient knowledge working with Joomla CMS and OSCommerce shopping cart.
- Intermediate skills both designing and developing in Flash or Swish with ActionScripting.
- Familiarity with designing for and within a database or content management system.
- Basic understanding of Search Engine design requirements for effective indexing
