Marketing & Events Coordinator | S. S. Lootah Dubai
1) The Event Coordinator will work closely with internal marketing and operational groups to develop and maintain all aspects of the event process
2) The coordinator will work with multiple clients to fulfill and execute custom driven events and activities and to fulfill all aspects of the event organization
3) To support the Events Manager in an administrative capacity
4) To maintain a complete and accurate list of events and activities
5) To plan, coordinate and facilitate events in accordance with agreed timelines, scope of work and budgets
6) To circulate events information to appropriate internal and external contacts in a timely and efficient manner
7) To be the first point of contact for general special event enquiries on behalf of the Manager
8) Coordinates and monitors event timelines to ensure targets are being met
9) Maintain and update current listings of upcoming events
10)Supply all requested marketing information to internal and external parties involved in the project
11)Liaise with the Events & Marketing Manager regarding the design, layout and content of the marketing materials
12)Work with venues on room set ups and ordering of event food and beverage
13)Take responsibility for the on the day management of each designated project
14)Organize and supervise all sub-contractors and service providers for the duration of a project
15) Act as a point of contact and reference for all designated projects.

Skills
1) 3-5 years UAE experience in a similar position. GCC experience will also be considered
2) Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English. Additional language is an advantage
3) Expert level knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint (should be good in making presentations)
4) Good telephone etiquette and excellent sales skills.
5) Must possess a pleasing personality coupled with excellent interpersonal skills
6) Must have a valid UAE or GCC driving license.
