Marketing Executive | Jaidah Group Doha
Job Description
1. Developing advertising opportunities, which can involve placing adverts in national and specialist publications.
2. Maintaining and building contacts with the media;
3. Writing and distributing press releases;
4. Preparing photo shoots;
5. Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and flyers - this can involve writing and proofreading copy, and liaising with designers and printers;
6. Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials
7. Maintaining and updating mailing databases;
8. Organizing and attending events and exhibitions;
9. Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness;
10. Evaluating marketing campaigns
11. Monitoring competitor activity
12. Analyzing pricing positions;
13. Contributing to long-term marketing plans and strategies;
14. Managing budgets;
15. Supporting the Marketing Manager, and other colleagues.
Skills
1. University Degree
2. Excellent organization and communication skills (verbal and written, Arabic and English)
3. Self-motivated, comfortable working independently, with the ability to work within tight deadlines
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential
5. Experience in Graphic and Design Software (Photoshop or Illustrator) is a must
6. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, members, and the general public.
7. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
8. Successful candidates are innovative, self-starters, independent, highly creative workers with good follow-up skills, demanding nothing less than the best, energetic, organized and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
9. Meticulous Planning is required. Approximately 15 events occur per year but require months of planning & development.
