Marketing Manager | Dubai
Our client, a global leader in Branding is looking for a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager will help the General Manager to manage and lead marketing and communication activities, both internally and externally.
The overall mission is to raise positive awareness of The Client amongst the press, key opinion formers/referrers, prospective clients, operating companies under the group, existing clients and The Client’s own people.
Media Relations
• Handling incoming press enquiries
• Research publications/journalists for thought pieces, forward features opportunities, news
• Development of news releases and subsequent media outreach
• Maintain press contacts database
• Support in any research-led PR initiatives
• Maintain reception press clippings book
• Quarterly PR tracking
Speaking opportunities and events
• Sourcing and coordinating The Client Dubai’s participation in selected conferences and seminars, and helping with speech content
• Manage delivery and marketing of client events
• Internally merchandise speaking opportunities and events
Awards
• Manage awards entry process
• Manage T&T Awards - local and global process
Marketing
• Support client teams in developing business with existing clients through bespoke marketing initiatives
• Manage development of marketing communications
• Manage regular mailouts to clients and prospects
• Leverage the existing network to support Dubai’s PR and Marketing activities
Business Development
• Support in pitch management
• Support in creating credentials for prospects
Internal
• Work with client teams to ensure our contact database is up to date
• Key point of contact for marcom/new biz requests from other The Client offices
• Internally merchandise all PR/marketing activity within office and wider The Client network
• Raise the profile of the marketing team internally
Profile
• Proven track record in similar role
• Opportunistic and driven
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate (word, excel, ppt and database management)
• Self-motivated and able to work well independently and in a team situation
• Possibly Arab
